Happy Birthday Chocolate Cake Health
Unlike most of indulgences in the birthday cake will not make you almost guilty in the morning. I will not say it's the healthiest thing since sliced bread, whole grain sprouted because it contains sugar, but contains less than half of what is in most cake (do not worry, it always sweet thanks for the pureed prunes). Really, it is actually healthier than your average birthday cake. For most cakes, I can not find two more healthy "food" ingredients (if!)-It was three times more!
The Happy Birthday Cake healthy chocolate has the following: "Organic" ingredients:
Prunes
Wheat flour (I use "white" whole wheat, because it is lighter than regular whole wheat flour texture, but still has all the same nutritional value all-fiber, seed nutrients, etc.)
unsweetened cocoa
Organic eggs from free-range
Apples
Pecans
Extra virgin coconut oil
I must admit, candy (and wine) are really my two biggest vices, but I found that the addition of my candy for the health "whole food" ingredients (like nuts, fruits, whole wheat flour products, etc.) I can help compensate for the damage. Plus I'm still limited to one sweet treat a day (and I am careful to buy read the ingredients for the food I eat and no hidden sugars throughout the day). I did not understand what I Wine with Spike, perhaps I could with some Greens powder run =)
Anyway, here is our family health cake recipe down (if you serve the cake for the children do not have the Bailey's Irish Cream worry, it's not enough to make one part of a difference).
